This treatment is the ideal alternative to liposuction. It began in Milan over a decade ago. Today, it is considered the “starter treatment” to get rid of localized fat. The cavitation handpiece works by sending ultrasonic waves of low frequency into the body. This creates microbubbles that break or dilute fat cells, essentially turning them liquid and able to be eliminated through the urine or the lymphatic system. It is recommended for clients to come in every other day for at least 2 weeks for best results. Radiofrequency is highly recommended to complement cavitation to tighten the skin.
